There is no such thing as guilt. In any case, according to Manfred Prisching's lecture, a ‘reference system’ is always needed for someone to be ‘guilty’ in the first place. Listen to the lecture on the categories, references, and symbols of ‘guilt’ here:

What role does literature play in dealing with ‘guilt’ and ‘reconciliation’? Using Peter Weiss's play ‘The Investigation’ as an example, Saskia Fischer shows how literature and art in particular can contribute to establishing a critical discourse of remembrance focused on recognizing the suffering of victims, with the aim of relentlessly uncovering the truth about the past. You can hear what this has to do with ‘reconciliation’ here:

Memories of the Private Jewish Elementary School in Bonn

A commemorative plaque now stands on the site of the former Jewish elementary school, which existed from 1934 to 1941 on the grounds of today's Juridicum. This serves to preserve the memory of the achievements of the school and its headmaster, Hans-Herbert Hammerstein. A research project on the history of the Jewish elementary school is being initiated by the reconciliation project of the Universities of Bonn and the DAAD centers in Jerusalem and Haifa, Israel.
