Together with Israeli political scientist José Brunner and Chief Rabbi Andreas Nachama, we discussed the current debates on the new anti-Semitism, the culture of remembrance, and the possibilities and limits of reconciliation.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all participants and guests for the open conversations and lively discussions. We would also like to extend our special thanks to Sarah Tzscheppan for her excellent moderation.

Events such as this one illustrate that reconciliation cannot be imposed. It requires an ongoing process of social negotiation.
