Ann-Sophie Vornholz is a research assistant at the Institute of Sociology and scientific director of the Bonn Center for Reconciliation Studies. Since August 2025, she has been pursuing her doctorate at the Institute of English, American, and Celtic Studies at the University of Bonn on the topic of Memory and Resistance in Feminist Speculative Fiction. She previously studied English and Romance languages in Cologne and English Literatures and Cultures in Bonn, where she completed her Master of Arts degree in 2025. Her research interests include dystopias, contemporary Anglophone literature, gender and queer theory, postcolonialism, memory studies, and issues of trauma, resistance, and narrativity.
